The Housekeeping Program (Basic Level / D1) is designed to equip participants with fundamental skills in maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and comfort of guest rooms and public areas in a hotel. Participants will learn international standards for room setup, use of cleaning equipment, linen management, and basic communication techniques with guests. This program is ideal for aspiring professionals who wish to pursue a career as a room attendant or housekeeping staff in the hospitality industry.

Program Objectives

  • Understand cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with the hospitality industry.
  • Master room arrangement and cleaning techniques (room cleaning).
  • Be able to use cleaning equipment and materials correctly and safely.
  • Understand procedures for linen, amenities, and housekeeping inventory management.
  • Develop discipline, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to carry out basic communication with guests and team members.
  • Be ready to work as a room attendant or entry-level housekeeping staff.
